What is an Autowatch Ghost immobiliser and how does it work?
The Autowatch Ghost is a CAN bus immobiliser that stops your car from being started unless a personal PIN sequence is entered using the buttons already in the vehicle. It has no key fobs or LED lights to give it away, so it can’t be bypassed by key cloning, relay attacks or replacing the ECU. It’s a quiet, undetectable layer of protection that thieves can’t defeat with the usual keyless methods.
Will fitting an immobiliser affect my manufacturer warranty?
No. The Autowatch Ghost connects to the vehicle’s existing CAN data network without cutting into the wiring loom, so it doesn’t interfere with the manufacturer’s systems and won’t invalidate your warranty. As a TASSA-approved installer with over 30 years’ experience, every fit is done cleanly and can be removed with no trace if you ever sell the car.
